Based upon your professional training, years of experience, and your specific needs at this stage of your professional acting career, you and the coaches will evaluate and assess what you need to focus on during the day.
Together, we'll ask " What about YOUR. . ." and work with you individually and in groups on your
● headshot ● audition selection (s) ● pairing monologue with music ● monologue work ● dance callbacks ● audition and song selections ● cold readings ● contracts ● after-callback follow up ● personal rehearsal habits ● video auditions ● résumé ● communications with directors, accompanist, and companies; and ● your specific questions and coaching needs.
Requirements:Have at least one-minute monologue memorized that is not the audition you'll do at FPTA. Bring other monologue material, along with your song notebook with music clearly marked and ready to sing if you sing. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can easily and freely move in. If you’re a dancer, bring your jazz and tap shoes. Please bring pencil and paper to take notes.
