Becky Timms is a director, choreographer, and performer and has extensive professional experience on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tours and has worked with some of professional theatres’ finest legendary directors and choreographers. She has worked with such legends as Jerome Robbins, Harold Prince, Michael Bennet, Bob Fosse, Susan Stroman, and Trevor Nunn, to name a few. Becky has directed and choreographed more than 60 productions for professional equity theatres all over the country: La Jolla Playhouse, NJ Shakespeare, The Cort, and MTC, among others. In addition, she was the associate choreographer for the Tony Award winning show Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2002. Becky brings years of experience as a dancer, choreographer, director, and performer to this year’s FPTA 2018 professional coaching team.
Jana Tift has taught the Alexander Technique and movement for actors for more than twenty years. A former member of the graduate acting faculty at Florida Atlantic University, she has shared the Technique in workshops and master classes throughout the U.S. and abroad, including Lawrence University Conservatory, New World School of the Arts, Young Arts, Louisiana State University, Southeastern Theatre Conference and the International University Theatre Association. In addition, she has taught in the teacher training program for the Philadelphia School for the Alexander Technique. An award-winning director, Jana holds an MFA in Theatre from Florida State University. She is a member of Alexander Technique International, the Society of Directors and Choreographers, and teaches and coaches in South Florida.

Julia Davidson Truilo is a singer-actor and teacher with a wealth of experience in musical theater, opera, and cabaret music. For many years, she was the managing director at Seaside Music Theater, hiring talent for over 200 shows in markets as diverse as New York, Nashville, and Orlando. Ms. Truilo has more than 30 years experience as a professional performer and has served as a master teacher for both voice and audition technique all over the U.S. She currently serves as part of the management team for City Repertory Theatre in Palm Coast, an intimate black box theater specializing in new works and classic plays.
Kenneth Kay (AEA/SAG-AFTRA/MFA) is a producer, director, actor & teacher with forty years of professional theatre experience and 300+ stage productions to his credit. When not acting or directing, Mr. Kay is a teaching professional with the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s Professional Training Program and an Adjunct Professor with the Drama Department of Palm Beach Atlantic University. Of late, he has served as an Artist-in-Residence at BAK School of the Arts where he directed Spoon River Anthology. Other recent credits include directing a chilling new adaptation of The Scarlet Letter for PBA and playing featured roles in Frost/Nixon at the Maltz and in the pilot episode of HBO’s hit TV series, Ballers.
Michael Leeds is a director, writer, and choreographer: He's worked with such talented and legendary artists as Arthur Miller, Martin Scorsese, Liza Minnelli, Lynn Redgrave, Tyne Daly, Tommy Tune, Donna Murphy, Kate Burton, Stephen Schwartz, Kander & Ebb, and many others. He wrote and directed the B’way musical, Swinging On A Star that was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Musical. Off-B’way he directed and choreographed Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah – The Songs of Allan Sherman, starring Tovah Feldshuh & Mary Testa, for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Best Director and Best Choreographer. Mr. Leeds has directed for Playwrights Horizons, the York Theatre, the Goodspeed Opera House and Paper Mill Playhouse among others. He is Associate Artistic Director at Island City Stage in Fort Lauderdale and has been awarded the Carbonell and Silver Palm Award. Michael teaches a weekly acting class in Delray Beach and Fort Lauderdale (www.LeedsWorkshop.com).
